Data Usage
Last updated:
This page summarizes the categories of data the BlokBlox app may collect or use, why, and whether it is linked to your identity. It complements our Privacy Policy and is meant to align with the data-disclosure formats used by the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Data Stored On Your Device
- Game progress & settings — high scores, preferences, and saved state are stored locally on your device and are not, by themselves, sent to us.
Data That May Be Collected
Diagnostics
- Crash logs & performance data — used to identify and fix problems. Not used to identify you.
Usage Data
- Product interaction (e.g. screens viewed, features used) — aggregated analytics used to improve the App.
Identifiers
- Device / advertising identifiers — may be used by advertising or analytics partners where ads are present. You can limit this through your device settings.
Contact Info & Account (Required)
- Name and email address — an account is required to play BlokBlox. We collect your email address and name to create and identify your account. You can delete it any time via the Data Deletion page.
Purchases
- Purchase history — in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of a transaction but not your payment-card details.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, or health data.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Third-Party Services
BlokBlox uses third-party services including Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, Google Mobile Ads for advertising, and may use analytics services. These providers have their own privacy practices, and the data they handle is governed by their policies in addition to ours.
Your Controls
- Delete your account and associated data — see the Data Deletion page.
- Reset local game data by clearing the App’s storage or reinstalling.
- Manage ad tracking via your device’s advertising-identifier settings.
- Contact us with any data questions at olddawgstudios@gmail.com.
