This Privacy Policy explains how Old Dawg Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the BlokBlox mobile application (the “App”). We’ve tried to keep this short and plain-spoken. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
BlokBlox can be played without creating an account. If you choose to sign in — for example, with Facebook Login — some additional information is involved, as described below. Depending on how you use the App, the following information may be involved:
- Game data stored on your device: things like your high scores, settings, and progress are saved locally on your device.
- Optional analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics (such as which screens are opened or crash reports) that help us fix bugs and improve the game.
- Advertising data (if ads are shown): third-party advertising partners may collect device identifiers and similar information to serve and measure ads.
- Purchase information (if you buy something): in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation that a purchase occurred, but we do not receive or store your full payment details.
- Information you send us: if you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to share.
- Facebook Login (if you use it): if you choose to sign in with Facebook, we receive basic profile information you authorize — typically your name and email address — to create and identify your account. We do not post to Facebook on your behalf.
How We Use Information
- To run, maintain, and improve the App.
- To diagnose crashes and technical problems.
- To process and verify in-app purchases.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To show advertising, where applicable.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the App — for example, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising partners, and the app stores that process purchases. These providers are only permitted to use the information to perform services for us.
Children’s Privacy
BlokBlox is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner prohibited by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Your Choices
- You can delete your account and associated data at any time — see our Data Deletion page for steps.
- You can reset locally stored game data by clearing the App’s data or reinstalling it.
- You can limit ad tracking through your device’s privacy settings (iOS and Android both offer advertising-identifier controls).
- You can contact us to ask about the information associated with any support correspondence.
Data Retention & Security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted within the App or on this site.
